You will remember the day you discovered this great all purpose pork rub. Although it was formulated for pork, it is also excellent on smoked salmon and even other meats and popcor. It will flavor, color, and form a wonderful crust when cooked at low temperatures. Some of the pros leave their rub on overnight, sort of a dry marinade, that PARMESAN HERB BEER BREAD This old fashion beer bread is hearty with a buttery, crispy crust. Beer bread has a yeasty, malty flavor that has a hint of beer that you probably wouldn’t notice if you didn’t know about the beer, and a touch of sweetness. the bread is moist, dense, and chery, perfect for toast aned sandwiches. A great compliment to soup, stew, or chili. INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9x5 baking pan. In a bowl, empty the contents of the package and pour in 1 1/2 cups (12 oz) of beer and mix until moistened. Transfer to the prepared baking pan and level on top. Top with 2-4 TBS of melted butter. Bake approximately 45 minuted in the prepared oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, place on a wire rack to cool. NOTES: Most people agree that the beer you use, light vs dark, expensive vs cheap, does not make a noticeable difference in the taste, although some think that a dark beer does add flavor. You can substitute 1 1/2 cups of Seltzer water or a soda instead of beer OPTIONS: Add shredded cheese, diced peppers, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, or herbs.   Ingredients: Enriched bleached wheat flour (bleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, and folic acid), leavening (sodium aluminum phosphate, sodium bicarbonate, monocalcium phosphate), Cheddar Cheese Powder (Whey, Buttermilk Solids, Cheese), salt calcium sulfate, cane sugar, brown sugar, Garlic Powder, & sea salt.
